Secret - One
Title: Secret
Pairing: JongKey
Genre: Drama, Romance
Rating: PG-13
Credits: Based on the movie starring Jay Chou.
Summary: One day, while walking around the piano rooms, a high school student named Jonghyun, heard an unknown and beautiful melody, played by Kibum. From then on, the two were always together. However, Kibum seems mysterious and when Jonghyun tried to get to know him more, he always brushes off his questions by saying that it's a secret. There was a misunderstanding between the two of them, and subsequently Kibum never came to school anymore. Jonghyun was heartbroken. But the more he tried to find out, he realized that things were not as they seemed.

Secret - One
Tightening his hold on the strap of his bag, Jonghyun took a deep breath before entering his new school - the school where his father used to teach. He made his way towards the Admission Office to do what he needs to do. He stood in front of the office and knocked three times. The door opened and he was greeted by a middle-aged man who wore thick glasses.
"Kim Jonghyun ssi?" he nodded. Then, someone knocked on the door and entered. It was a boy, about his age. "Jonghyung ssi, this is Lee Jinki. He will be your guide for today. He'll give you a tour around the campus and you can be his friend as well."
Jonghyun smiled and extended out his hand. "It's nice to meet you Lee Jinki ssi, I'm Kim Jonghyun."
Lee Jinki showed his 1000-watt smile and shook Jonghyun's hand. "It's nice to meet you too Jonghyun ssi."
"It's seems that you will get along very well." The middle-aged man said while handing out some papers to Jonghyun. "You fill those up and submit it back when you're done."
Jonghyun nodded and walked out of the room with Jinki following him. "I've heard of you before." Jinki said as he caught up with Jonghyun. The latter smiled.
"Really?"
Jinki nodded. "You major in piano, right?"
"Yeah."
"Why did you transfer to our school?" Jinki asked out of curiosity. "Something wrong with yours?"
"Your school is beautiful." Jonghyun replied with a smile. "And my father made me." he added.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah. Long story. So, the school is famous for its piano?"
Jinki nodded in response. "Well, yeah. We're all very hard-working. You too, right?"
"I'm okay."
When they both entered a building, they walked along the hallway. "These rooms are all piano rooms." Jinki said, pointing at the room beside them up to the room at the end of the hallway. "When you study piano, you'll be often here."
"It's beautiful." Jonghyun stated.
"Yes, it is." He then let out a sigh. "But it's a pity that they will be tearing it down on graduation day."
"Why?"
"To build a new one. We won't be able to use it after graduation though. Other students are more fortunate to use it." He then put a hand on Jonghyun's shoulder which made the latter look at him. "Come practice often!" he beamed.
"Sure." Jonghyun answered politely.
"This is a really nice school." Jinki seems that he cannot stop complimenting the school. "Want me to tour you around more?"
"I'll be fine on my own." Jonghyun said, declining Jinki's offer. "If I get lost, I'll yell for help." Then he proceeded to wander around the hallway by himself.
He peeked at the rooms and they were beautiful. But then, he spotted the room near the end of the hallway. As he was coming near the said room, he was attracted by a beautiful melody. Someone must be in that room. Curiosity struck him so he fastened his pace.
Once he got there, he took a peek inside and found no one. 'Weird.' he thought. He entered the room and got the shock of his life, a guy was standing on a ladder. From the looks of it, he was putting something on the shelf.
Jonghyun put a hand on his chest, trying to calm himself down. "Excuse me, were you playing?" he asked as soon as he calmed down.
"No." the guy replied with a smile while getting down the ladder.
"It wasn't you? But there isn't anyone else here." Jonghyun wondered.
The guy chuckled a bit. "Okay, it was me."
"It sounded beautiful." Jonghyun complimented. The latter thanked him. He smiled and rushed out of the room.
He fanned himself with his hands as he made his way out of the hallway, towards his classroom.

The teacher was discussing something about the history of Music when, "Sorry, I'm late." someone entered their classroom and to his surprised - it was the guy from the piano room.
The teacher didn't seem to notice him as he just continued to give his lecture while the guy he saw walked at the back of the room and sat on the empty seat. He took a glance at him and smiled. The guy smiled back.
"Pay attention in class!" the teacher noticed what he was doing and called his attention. When he successfully did, he went back to his business.
Jonghyun kept on glancing at the guy and he was smiling back at him. For some reason, he couldn't keep his eyes off the said boy.

As soon as classes were finished, the piano room guy rushed out of the room before he could even talk to him. He really wanted to know who he is so he ran after him. The guy took a left turn and so he did. But to his dismay, the person he's looking for was nowhere in sight.
He felt a hand on his shoulder and when he turned his head, his cheek was poked. It was the guy from the piano room and he smiled in happiness. "Why are you following me?" he asked Jonghyun.
"No, I'm not!" he denied.
"No?" the guy pouted. "Bye then."
Before Jonghyun could even say something else, the guy already walked ahead of him. He couldn't let his chance slip away just like that so once again, he ran after him. "I want to ask you something!" Luckily, the guy heard him and turned to face him. "What's the name of the song you played?" he asked. "It's beautiful."
The guy leaned closer his ear and whispered, "That's a secret." And with that the guy walked away leaving him speechless.
"Why is it a secret?!" he yelled at the guy who turned back to face him, giving him a smile. "What's your name?" he shouted.
Thinking that it was him, his classmate Jinki, who's behind the guy he's interested in, turned around and said with a smile. "I told you that already." He let out an awkward smile.
"I can hear you from afar." his teacher suddenly spoke behind him. "This is a school. Not a place to pick up girls..and even guys. Watch yourself and pay attention in class."
Jonghyun hung his head low in embarrassment and walked away.
