The flight back home was alright, nothing special other than the fact that Junsu was sleeping on Yoochun’s shoulder which Yoochun found rather nice. Now that his feelings for the other is clear as a crystal, he could enjoy these simple things like a highschool girl. Although he wanted to spend more time with Junsu at his apartment, he needed to go home. When he left it a week ago, it was a mess and he seriously has some cleaning to do if he doesn’t want rats to live in there. And besides, Junsu looked too tired to even do anything so he let him rest for the day, not that they were going to do something productive anyway.
“You sure you don’t want to have dinner or something?” Junsu asked him when they arrived at his house. He shook his head and gave him a kiss on the forehead.
“I’m fine. I need to go home anyway. I’ll call you.”
He was busy unpacking his stuff when something white fell off from his suitcase. He unfolded it and it was the note the stranger asked him to pass on to Junsu this morning. When Junsu dropped it on the floor he picked it up and read the contents as he was curious as to why he boyfriend was acting like that. After reading the note, he discreetly followed Junsu to the bar. That was when he saw him with Seungri, but of course he doesn’t know who Seungri was. He was in a safe distance so he couldn’t quite hear what they were talking about. But he was relieved when nothing outrageous happened like hugging, too much touching or even kissing. He was a clueless rat.
Junsu is hiding something from him, he knows it. But he’s gonna wait. He’s not gonna force him into anything. He knows Junsu will tell him things sooner or later. How soon is soon though? That…he doesn’t know.
Junsu called him two hours later announcing that he’ll be coming over. He has no food to offer the other so he asked him to bring some. He fastened his pace in cleaning the place and he managed to do it before Junsu arrived with two boxes of pizza. “You didn’t tell me what you want for dinner so I brought these.”
“It’s alright.” they settled down the couch, eating their so-called dinner while having a movie marathon. Yoochun put an arm around Junsu and pulled him closer so he was resting his head on his shoulder. “This movie is boring.”
“I’m glad you noticed it. Here I thought I was the only one dying of boredom.”
He laughed and pulled Junsu closer, if it was possible. “I have to tell you something.” Junsu turned off the TV and faced Yoochun anxiously. “If I tell you I feel the same way you do, would you believe me?”
“Yoochun, that’s not a funny joke.”
“But I’m not even joking. I know it must’ve been really bad when I took your confession as a joke but I hope you take mine seriously.”
“But that won’t be fair!” Junsu reasoned out. He has a point though.
“Take it as a joke. Fine with me. You’ll never hear me say that again.”
Junsu hit Yoochun on the chest, pouting slightly. “I just don’t want you to say things you don’t mean. Take your time. I’m not pressuring you anyway.” And with that, the subject was dropped off.
Yoochun asked Junsu to sleep over and Junsu did. However, the next day, Yoochun found himself harshly woken up by his lover, repeatedly slapping him in the arm which isn’t really that gentle. He stirred in his sleep and groaned, but the slaps became more violent that he had no choice but to force his eyes open. “What?” he asked with much irritation. Junsu rolled his eyes at him.
“Don’t ‘what’ me! You have a visitor outside.”
“What? Who?”
Junsu crossed his arms on his chest and covered himself with Yoochun’s blanket. “See for yourself.” Yoochun was wondering who the visitor is to make Junsu act strange. He got up the bed and headed straight to the living room only to find the person he never wished to see sitting comfortably on his couch.
“What are you doing here?” came his unwelcoming greeting. He wasn’t planning on seeing the person for like…well, the rest of his freakin’ life.
“Why is your best friend here?”
He rolled his eyes. “Do you think that’s any of your business?” he wished Junsu would come out and help him, but seeing the way he acted just a while back, it looks like he has to deal with this on his own. “Get out!” he ordered with such authority. It was the first time he used such tone on…her.
“What? I live here too, Yoochun. You can’t kick me out.”
“Used to,” he pointed out. “And yes, I can. This is my house to begin with. I can do anything and everything I want. I don’t think you have the right even just to be here anymore.” He couldn’t let her ruin his life once again. He’s happy now, more than happy in fact. “Please leave before I call the police on you.”
“You can’t do this Yoochun! I’m pregnant!” Yoochun’s eyes widened to an extent but he kept his cool.
“I…I’ve had enough of your lies, noona. Please get out.”
Gahee stayed still on the couch, tears streaming down her face. “I’m not lying, Yoochun. I am pregnant.”
“Is it…mine?” when she nodded, he felt like his soul left his body. No. No. NO! Why now? “But…you said you’ve been sleeping with guys. How sure are you that it’s mine?”
“You were the last guy I slept with, Yoochun.” She hid her face on her palm, embarrassed. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have broken up with you. I made a big mistake.”
“I should talk to Junsu about this.” he said, heading to his room when Gahee stopped him with a question.
“Why?”
“…Because he’s my boyfriend.” He answered truthfully. What’s the point in hiding the truth? He’s not even embarrassed to tell the world about his relationship with his best friend. He ignored his crying ex-girlfriend and walked in his room, finding a crying Junsu. He sighed. “You heard it, didn’t you?” Junsu nodded and he could only wrap his arms around him. “If you’re worried that I might leave you, I won’t. Okay? I don’t care if she’s pregnant with my kid. I won’t leave you.”
“But Chun, you can’t abandon your child. The kid is innocent. If…” he didn’t want to say it, but he has to, for the sake of the innocent child. “…if you decide to raise your child, with Gahee, it’s fine with me. There would be no hard feelings, just…just take care of your kid.”
Yoochun tightened his hold on him; he didn’t want him to say such things. “I won’t, okay? All I need you to do is stay by my side and help me get through this. You will, won’t you?” Junsu nodded. Of course he will. He’s not gonna leave Yoochun after everything they went through together. They don’t have a stable relationship at the moment but that doesn’t mean he’s gonna give up on it…on them.
A few moments later, they both decided to face Gahee and still, she was on the same spot. Gahee laughed as soon as she saw them hand-in-hand. “Yoochunnie,” Junsu cringed at the pet name. “You don’t have to do that. I mean, I’m here. You can stop pretending to be gay just to get rid of me because I’m not leaving.”
Yoochun held onto Junsu tighter and gave Gahee a disgusting look. “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself? You left me. You can’t just show up and say you’re carrying my child. You’re even trying to ruin my relationship with Junsu.”
“Bullshit! How could you be together? The last time I checked, you weren’t gay.”
“Things change, people change. Now suck it up.”
“You can stay here if you want,” Junsu spoke startling the other two. “You can even live here if you want to.” Yoochun looked at him as if he was insane. “But you won’t be seeing Yoochun anymore. I never really liked you and you’re making me dislike you more.”
Gahee stood up and advanced towards Junsu, but Yoochun pulled him behind him so instead of Junsu, Gahee hit him in the face. “Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry Yoochunnie!” she tried touching Yoochun’s face but it only got swatted away. Her head shot up and gave Junsu a glare. “You! You faggot! I never liked you too! You’re too clingy and don’t think that Yoochun loves you because he doesn’t! He’s just toying with you because he’s bored! I’ll leave. But that doesn’t mean I won’t come back. You better break up with that fag, Yoochun. You’re raising this kid with me.” she angrily grabbed her bag from the couch and hit Junsu with it before walking out of the house.
As soon as the door slammed close, Yoochun checked up on Junsu who had a purple mark on his right cheek. “She always has a bottle of perfume in her bag.” He said, explaining the mark on his cheek. “I’m sorry for causing you this trouble.” He cupped Junsu’s cheeks gently and gave him a soft peck on the lips. He dragged him to the kitchen mainly because he didn’t want to let go of his hand let alone leave him alone.
“Live with me.” Junsu looked at him straight in the eye. He took the ice bag from Yoochun’s hand and put it down the table. “It’s time for me to be selfish with what’s mine, just this once. I don’t want that girl to bother you again. We’ll deal with her together.”
Yoochun agreed, seeing Junsu’s whole point. And besides, his house brings back memories, painful memories that made it hard for him to move on. Junsu called the Jungs over at his boyfriend’s house to help them pack.
“What happened?” asked Jaejoong upon arriving at Yoochun’s place. They brought Changmin along with them so the little ball of sunshine kept Junsu busy while he and Yunho talked to Yoochun.
“Changminnie! I missed you!” Junsu said with so much enthusiasm, carrying the little one in his arms.
Changmin grinned and kissed him on the lips. “Changminnie missed Summa too!” It has been a week ever since he last saw the kid and he missed him so much that he just wanted to hold and squish him all day long. He’s pretty sure Yoochun would do the same. Those two are like partners-in-crime. “Summa…” Changmin’s smile vanished as he carefully traced the bruise on his cheek. “Why did you paint your cheek?”
Junsu chuckled at the other’s cuteness. “Because I heard that Changminnie’s going to pay us a visit.”
“But Changminnie doesn’t like purple! Changminnie likes white!”
“Really? I thought it was purple.”
“It’s okay. “ the boy said, poking the bruise in which Junsu winced in pain. “Does…does it hurt?” Slowly, he nodded and Changmin let out a pout which was adorably cute. “Changminnie will kiss it better.” and so he did. He puckered up his lips until it met Junsu’s purple cheek.
The Jungs are really lucky for having a sweet and caring son like Changmin.
“Do you think Gahee will find you here?” Junsu asked, lying down beside Yoochun on his— their bed. It was a couple of hours ago when Yoochun officially moved in his house.
“I don’t know. But I hope not. Is it true though? That you never liked her?”
He glanced at Yoochun before nodding. “How could I like her? I already like you at that time, Yoochun. For me, she stole you not just from me, but from the others as well. I’m your best friend but you seem to be spending every single day with her. I know she’s your girlfriend but couldn’t you make time for your friends? Hyukjae and Donghae are even complaining to me about it.”
He’s right, Yoochun thinks. He’s been too blinded by love. Every day and night, he’ll be spending it with Gahee although the other pushes him away sometimes. And during those times that it happens, he would be crashing at Junsu’s place and they would be visiting Donghae and Hyukjae for free food. But Junsu has nothing to worry about now. He would never ever leave Junsu’s side even if he pushes him away.
It was amazing how their little vacation in the island brought them problems. One, Junsu’s secret and two, Gahee.
“She used to be nice…Gahee noona. She really was. I don’t know why she’s bitching all of a sudden.”
“Because she wants you back when she knows it’s too late. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that, Chun.” Yoochun slapped him lightly in the arm. He chuckled. “But I won’t forgive her for the bruise on my cheek.”
