Jin never thought an email would change his bachelor life forever.
Jin raises a brow, clearly amused. "Are you really?"
"Maybe. Maybe not."
"You're staring at my lips. Do you want to kiss me now?"
"I believe I'm allowed to stare at it. It looks inviting." Kazuya says without much thought.
"If it does then it's probably inviting you."
Kazuya whacks him on the head. "You are a flirt. You have to stop doing that."
"Would you be jealous if I flirt with someone else?"
Shameless flirting. Both men would be lying if they said they aren't enjoying this. Kazuya finally gives up and laughs. "It was fun while it lasted. Seriously though, you have to learn when to stop. You have a son. At least try to find someone you want to spend the rest of your life with."
Jin sighs, running a hand through his hair. "I told you...I can't, okay. I just can't."
"You haven't even tried. That one time it didn't work out doesn't count, Jin." Said man wonders why the nanny's so persistent. There's a reason why he's scared of commitments. He doesn't like getting too attached to people, thinking that they'd eventually hurt him. He doesn't want to get hurt knowing that he wouldn't be able to take the pain. There were a few people whom he thought he could be serious with but he tried to stop himself from falling deep so he wouldn't have to take the risk of getting his heart broken. "Again, you wouldn't know if you don't try. Not everyone would hurt you." The model blinks, realizing that he's voiced his thoughts out loud. "Do you not want to find happiness?"
"I am happy." he retorts, getting annoyed at the other man.
"No you aren't."
"Shut up. You don't know me. You don't know how I feel. You know nothing about me."
"Then let me," Kazuya says, ignoring the glare the other man is shooting him. "Open up. Let me know who you really are. Let me understand how you feel. Let me help you."
"I don't know why you're doing this but I'm not interested. Go find someone else who'll let you meddle with their lives." With that, Jin stands up and heads straight to his room, leaving a sighing nanny.
"You don't think I went overboard, do you?"
"To be honest, you did."
He sighs, rolling around his bed. "I just wanted to help." he reasons out. Because it's true. He knows he could get nosy at times but that's because he just wants to help. And he knows when someone needs one. Jin definitely does.
"But he didn't ask for it."
"I don't think he would."
Kazuya looks at his friend who shrugs, then takes a sip of his coffee. "Who knows, really. Just try to get to know him first. You're getting along well with his son. Why not him?"
He nods and closes his eyes. Jin is one tough cookie, he decides. Why's he even thinking too much about him? I'm here for Donghae, he reminds himself.
"He's not going to make me leave Hyukkie, right?" he looks down at the boy on his lap, his tone seemingly depressed. He shakes his head.
"No baby, he won't."
"Promise?"
He smiles. "I promise." He is going to make sure that Jin wouldn't be that much of a jerk for separating his son from his best friend. "Have you thought of what you're going to do at your talent show?"
Donghae looks up at him and shakes his head, his lips forming a small pout. "No Kazu, I don't know what to do." He smiles at the nickname the little boy has given him (he's having trouble pronouncing his name, he says it gets his tongue twisted and it makes the poor thing - tongue - cry). "Are you going to help me?"
"Of course, sweetie. You want to go eat some cake?" he asks, happy when the boy nods. "Come on, we're going to meet some people who can help you." He then stands up, carrying the beaming Donghae in his arms as they head to the coffee shop.
"Look who's here!"
Kazuya almost falls on the floor after Junno throws himself at him. He hisses. "You're squishing the kid, man. Get off." A laugh is heard and he sees Changmin, Junno's twin, grinning at them. Not before flicking his twin brother on the forehead. He puts Donghae down.
"Is that Donghae?" Junno asks, sporting a grin identical to his twin's. "Hello Donghae! My name is Junnosuke, but you can call me Junno."
Donghae runs behind Kazuya, clutching on to his pants. Changmin chuckles and says, "He's scared of you." directing the statement to his brother who pouts, feeling dejected. He kneels and looks at Donghae then waves his hand. "Hi Donghae. I'm Changmin. It's nice to meet you." Donghae looks at him then points at Junno, then back at him. Kazuya watches in amusement.
"Same?"
The three men chuckle, Changmin reaching out to ruffle the kid's hair. He stands up and nods. "Yes, the same. We're twins." Donghae breaks out into a grin and reaches up, wanting Changmin to carry him. The older man gladly complies, much to his twin's jealousy.
"Now now Junno, don't be a jelly ace." Said man stares as his twin ushers the little man to the kitchen, probably going to give him food. "I need your help, actually."
"What is it?" Putting the stupid jealousy aside, he turns his attention to Kazuya. "Is it something I'm good at?"
Kazuya nods. "I'm not sure, but maybe you are. Donghae has a talent show this friday and we need your help. He doesn't know what to do."
Junno grins, giving him a thumbs up. "I'm going to teach him how to dance. Something that would make girls swoon." I don't think his Hyukkie would like it though, he mumbles. "Did you say something?"
He shakes his head.
"I'm ho--" Jin pauses, noticing that the house is empty. "Where are they?" he wonders out loud. He fishes his phone out of his pocket then curses, remembering that he doesn't have the nanny's number. He had quite a tiring day at work and he just wanted to cuddle with his baby boy. Oh how he missed him.
Knowing that Kazuya wouldn't even try to do something that would harm his kid, he settles down the living room, flipping through the channels of the terebi, as Donghae would like to call it, waiting for Kazuya and his son.
He feels something poking him and he cracks an eye open. "I fell asleep," he mumbles, rubbing his eyes. "Where have yoummph--" he groans at the ball of energy bouncing on his lap. He smiles sleepily, kissing him on the forehead.
"We were out with a friend." Kazuya says, putting down paper bags on the table. "We brought food, by the way. I figured you haven't eaten yet and even if you have, you still have to eat this."
"Why were you out?" Jin wraps his arms around Donghae, sniffing the mixed scent of powder and sweat.
"Maybe. Maybe not."

"Donghae needed someone to help him for his talent show. My friend did." Jin nodded in understanding. "You hungry?"
"Yeah, kind of."
Jin watches as Kazuya prepares their dinner. He smiles. He kind of likes it. Oddly, he feels as if they are family. It felt like home.
