Title: Stepping Into Your Heart
Pairing/s: YooSu (main), YooHee, YunJae, HaeHyuk and others.
Characters: Kim Junsu, Park Yoochun, Park Gahee, Kim Jaejoong, Jung Yunho, Lee Hyukjae, Lee Donghae and others.
Genre: Drama, Romance
Summary: Yoochun's in a relationship with Gahee, but after a few months Gahee finally admits she has been sleeping with an other all this time and she wants to break up. While suffering from a broken heart he seeks comfort in his best friend, Junsu. After a heart-to-heart talk, Junsu finally confesses his love for Yoochun, and Yoochun takes it as a joke. Junsu has been in love with him long before Gahee came along but was never able to tell him. Yoochun simply waves the confession away and goes on sulking in his own "pain". But the longer he's crashing at his best friend's house, stumbling onto the most weird situations, and a few more confessions, Yoochun slowly develops a strong, unknown feeling for Junsu. As he finally made up his mind, Gahee comes back.

Stepping Into Your Heart - Six
"Let go!" Junsu shouted, struggling to get out of Yoochun's hold. He tried using his free hand but to no avail. Yoochun's hand was (weirdly) gripping on his wrist tightly.
Yoochun, on the other hand, ignored Junsu's screams and shouts. He didn't want to hurt Junsu but he has no choice. Once they arrived at the park, he immediately let go of Junsu's wrist. "I'm sorry." he mumbled but Junsu was able to hear it.
"Do you know how much that hurt? You jerk!"
"I said I'm sorry."
Junsu hissed. "Whatever. What do you wanna say?" he then crossed his arms, waiting for Yoochun's reply but nothing came. "What? You're not gonna talk? If you're gonna waste my time, then I better leave." he said, turning to walk away.
"Wait!" he heard Yoochun shout, he turned back and looked at him. "I..I.." he trailed off.
Junsu slowly faced him and walked towards him. "You what?"
"I'm sorry." he said in a low voice. "I'm sorry for taking your confession as a joke. I didn't mean to do it, it's just that I don't think.." he paused for a while, thinking of words to not hurt Junsu. "..please give me time to think about it. But for now, I see you as a friend, only a friend. I'm sorry."
Junsu sighed, he knew it. He knows that he will just get rejected so he prepared himself for it. It hurt him a lot but he managed to not show Yoochun the weak side of him. He cleared his throat and let out a soft smile, "It's alright Yoochun. You don't need to rush things or even return my feelings. I understand your situation. And thanks for staying as my friend."
Yoochun chuckled a bit. "No confession will stop me from being friends with you."
Somehow, he wasn't happy with Yoochun's words. Not that he doesn't want to be Yoochun's friend but because of the word 'friend' itself.
'I guess I got rejected, huh?' Junsu bitterly thought to himself. He sighed, but that's life. It's unfair and cruel. And he has to deal with it.
Junsu fished out his phone from his pocket and glanced at Yoochun. "Yoochun ah, I have to go now. Jaejoong hyung and Yunho hyung are looking for me."
The taller male nodded. "Go ahead. Do you want me to walk you home?"
He frantically waved his arms. "No! You don't need to. I-I can manage."
Yoochun then shrugged his shoulders. "Suit yourself. But be careful, okay?"
Junsu nodded and then sped off. He ran his way back home. No, Jaejoong or Yunho didn't send him anything. He just wanted to run away from Yoochun before he burst out in tears. He wanted Yoochun to see that he wasn't that affected from his rejection so if he stayed longer, he would have cried helplessly in front of him.
"Stupid Yoochun! Stupid! How could you reject me! You're so stupid.." he mumbled, still running. His vision blurred from the tears but luckily, he didn't trip or fall down. He made his was back his house safely without any bruises or scratches.
Knowing that his hyungs didn't lock the door for him, he opened the door without even knocking making the older guys in the living room startled. "Junsu? What happened?" Yunho asked but Junsu just stood there motionless with tears streaming down his cheeks.
Jaejoong noticed him and stood up from the couch, taking a step closer Junsu. "Junsu baby, what's wrong?" he asked in his usual motherly tone.
Just then, Junsu threw himself on Jaejoong and sobbed on his chest. Jaejoong glanced at Yunho who looked at Junsu worriedly. On instinct, he brought his hands up and rubbed Junsu's back soothingly. "J-jae hyung.." Junsu sobbed.
The older lad guessed that it has something to do with Yoochun. Yes, Yunho and him knows about how Junsu feels towards Yoochun. But they had to make sure that Yunho won't blurt out everything out to Yoochun and they will be in a deep shituation.
"Ssh.." he hushed the younger male. "..just let it out." When Junsu had calmed down a bit, he pulled away from the hug and wiped his tears harshly with his hands. Jaejoong swatted his hands away and wiped his tears with his own hands. "Don't hurt yourself." he said.
A few moments later, the three of them were sitting on the couch in the living room. Junsu was no longer sobbing but instead, his sobs were replaced into hiccups.

Watching Junsu's back slowly disappearing from his sight, Yoochun couldn't help but feel guilty. Guilty for rejecting Junsu. But come to think of it, he didn't reject Junsu, right? Or did he?
Time. He told Junsu to give him time to think about it. But how long will he take before making up his mind? Will Junsu still be there for him? Or worse, will he ever like Junsu the way the latter likes him?
He slapped himself and silently cursed Gahee. Why did she even have to break up with him in the first place? Ho yeah, because she sleeps with other guys. But why didn't he even get furious when he learned about that fact?
Does he love Gahee so much that he'll forgive her no matter what she does? If so, he sucks. He's definitely a sucker for love.

"He really said that?" Jaejoong asked in disbelief as Junsu nodded. "Oh my!" Junsu must've poured every tear out of his eyes that nothing came out of his tadpole eyes anymore. It was just puffy and a bit swollen.
"It's alright hyung. I understand him. Maybe he really doesn't like me that way."
"Don't say that!" Yunho said in a loud voice. "I'm sure he does. But if not..no! Deep deep deep deep down inside, he likes you as a man, not as a friend."
Junsu chuckled. "Thanks hyungs. I appreciate your efforts for making me happy." he sighed. "I'm going to sleep now. Good night hyungs!"
"Junsu wait!" Jaejoong stopped him from completely walking away. "If this makes you better, why don't you come with us tomorrow for the adoption?"
Just as he expected, Junsu's eyes twinkled when he heard about the adoption. Adoption means children and Junsu's fond of children. He smiled genuinely, "I'll go with you." and with that, he entered his room.
He plopped his bed and stared at the ceiling. He took a deep breath. At least children can still make him smile.
Life's not all about love, there's more to it.

The next day, he was greeted with two pairs of eyes looking at him. Slowly, he opened his eyes and rubbed it - yawning and stretching. "Good Morning hyungs." he greeted. "You slept here?"
He could feel one of them nodded, "Yeah we did. Yuri texted us saying that she'll be staying over at Jessica's house for about three days since her parents are out of town and she has no one to accompany her."
Junsu responded cutely with a nod. "Okay." he yawned again. "Why did you wake me up so early?"
Jaejoong chuckled. "Hurry up and take a bath. We'll be going to the orphanage in a little while."
At the mention of the orphanage, Junsu smiled brightly and got up his bed. He then got his towel and headed towards his bathroom. "Baby Jung here we come!" he said happily, pumping his fist in the air. Yunho and Jaejoong had to chuckle at that very cute sight.
Seriously, Junsu loves children too much.

Junsu squealed as he looked at the children playing outside the orphanage. His eyes sparkled at the sight. He found different kinds of children and he all loved them. He felt a nudge on his side and he saw Jaejoong tugging his sleeve. "Let's go?" he nodded with a smile as they headed towards the office.
"Sir, are you sure he's really the one you want to adopt?" the nun asked.
Yunho and Jaejoong both nodded. "Yes sister." the feminine male answered.
The nun smiled. "Alright then." she stood up from her chair and got out of the office. A few moments later, she came back with a cute boy holding a chocolate bar. "Here he is." she motioned the boy to get close to them. The boy looked at the nun and the couple then at the nun again before slowly and shyly walking towards Yunho and Jaejoong.
The couple felt both of their hearts beat faster. The child before them will officially be their own son in a few minutes. "Hello!" Yunho waved at his soon-to-be son.
"I need you to sign these papers first." the nun handed them a pile of papers regarding the adoption. "Would you like to change his name, sir?" she asked and the couple nodded. "What would you like to name him?" she inquired.
Jaejoong smiled. "Changmin. Jung Changmin."
She felt happy for the couple. She knows that the cute little boy will be in good hands. "Then Changmin it is."
While the couple was busy signing the papers, Junsu made himself busy with Little Changmin by playing with him. Little Changmin seems to enjoy his company as he can't stop laughing at Junsu's actions and words. "How old are you?" Junsu asked.
Little Changmin showed Junsu his right hand and said, "Four."
Junsu chuckled. "That's not four, Changminnie." he then showed Little Changmin his hand minus the thumb. "This is four." he said. Little Changmin stared at him in awe and nodded.
"Four!" Little Changmin repeated, chuckling.
"Come to mommy!" Jaejoong rushed towards Changmin, lifting him up and giving his cheeks a kiss. "Changmin ah.." he called his new son and the latter looked at him. He pointed at himself, "Me umma. Okay? Say it. U..mma.."
Little Changmin looked at him with his mismatched eyes, "U..um..umma.."
Jaejoong squealed in delight as soon as those words escaped from Little Changmin's mouth. "What's going on here?" Yunho approached them, giving Jaejoong a kiss on the cheeks.
"Oh nothing. Changminnie just called me umma."
"Really?!" Yunho pouted. "He must call me appa too!" Just then, he snatched Little Changmin from Jaejoong and tried to teach him how to say 'appa'. "Appa..say appa." Jaejoong heard Yunho talk to little Changmin and smiled. He turned to look at Junsu who was looking at the father and son lovingly.
Jaejoong was about to say something to him when, "I wanna have a baby." Junsu blurted out. His eyes widened in surprise.
"What?! You wanna have a baby?"
The younger male didn't seem to be surprised about it. "Yes hyung." he answered calmly.
"But you can't. Not that I'm saying your incapable of taking care of one but.."
"Hyung.." Junsu cut him off. "..I just said I wanna have a baby, I didn't say I'll get a baby."
"Oh." that was the only thing Jaejoong could manage to say.

Junsu was in his room, surfing the net for some news when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in." the door creaked open and he saw Jaejoong. "Hyung.."
Jaejoong walked towards his bed and sat on it. "Junsu ah, can I ask you a huge favor?"
The younger male smiled. "Sure, anything for you."
"You see, Yunnie and I have to go to Japan for three days to settle things out with the model." Yunho is a photographer and it was years ago when they built a modeling agency that handles models in Korea and Japan. "We can't bring Changmin along so can you uhm..can you look out for him?"
The latter smiled. "Alright. I'd be happy to take care of Changmin."
"Thanks Junsu." he gave the younger male a hug.
"Jaejoongie.." a voice spoke. It was Yunho standing in the door way, carrying little Changmin. "..I called Yoochun and he already agreed."
Jaejoong raised his eye brows. "Agreed to what?"
"Didn't you ask me to call him to babysit Changmin?"
"No, I didn't. I told you to call Yoochun so he could contact Youngsaeng for his contract signing while I go ask Junsu to babysit Changmin for us."
"Oh." Yunho scratched his head. "I told you..I.."
"Never mind." Jaejoong interrupted him and faced Junsu. "Junsu ah, I hope you don't mind watchin Changmin with Yoochun. It's only for three days and..I..we.." he sighed. "..will it be okay for you?"
Junsu smiled. "Absolutely. I'll do anything for you and hyung. And of course for Changminnie."
"Thank you Junsu, really."
Junsu smiled but deep inside..you know how he feels.
