“You know you’re my friend and I love you so much, but if you don’t stop pacing around I won’t hesitate to tackle you down the floor”
“Oh, I’m sorry” he looked out the window and he couldn’t help but get worried. "Yunho’s not picking up,”
“Maybe he’s busy”
“He picks up my calls even at his busiest of times”
“Maybe he doesn’t love you anymore so he’s trying to get rid of you. Yeah, that must be it!”
Jaejoong glared at his friend and threw his pencil at him. “Must you say something like that?”
Junsu winced in pain, rubbing his abused head. “Must you throw something as deadly as that?”
“Deadly my ass! Just shut up alright?!”
“What? I didn’t even say something wrong. I was just kidding, you know! And here I thought you’re smart enough to know that it was just a silly joke. I wonder what Yunho hyung liked about you. You’re weak, too girly and soft-spoken. In short, you’re nothing special. He should’ve just chosen me, I’m better at you in all aspects you know”
“Are you finished praising yourself and crushing my ego?”
“Oh, no!” Junsu shook his head, unaware of what was happening around him. “I was just getting started. You know, there are more than a hundred not-so-good things about you. Want me to enumerate?” he asked with sparkling eyes.
“No thanks, I prefer to not find out what those are” he replied through gritted teeth. Sometimes, he wonders how on earth he became friends with someone as conceited and dense as Junsu. But no matter how a bastard Junsu may be, he still loves the guy.
“Oh hey, did you know that there’s a storm?”
Jaejoong looked at him incredulously. “Do you even read a newspaper? That was like in the news days ago”
“Oh really? I didn’t know”
“Well obviously you didn’t,” he rolled his eyes. He just ignored Junsu and turned his attention back his phone. He tried calling his lover, Yunho , seventeen times in an hour but still, he wasn’t picking up. This was the first time that this happened. Usually, Yunho picks up immediately after three rings or so.
The rain is getting heavier by the minute and at this hour; Yunho might be driving home from his university. Questions were flooding his mind. What if he gets into an accident? What if his car got struck by lightning? What if the road is too slippery and his car brake isn’t working?
The door bell rang, interrupting his wild thoughts. “I’ll get it!” he heard Junsu say, he ignored it though. It might be Changmin, or Yoochun or someone else.
He jumped in surprise as two familiar hands were wrapped around his waist. “Hey babe,”
He turned around and gasped. “Yunho! What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in the university?”
Yunho pulled away. “Classes were suspended because of the storm so I figured I’ll just visit you and give you a hug,” he then pulled out something from his bag and handed it to his surprised lover. “Here, I brought your favorite cookies,”
“You came all the way here just to give me cookies and a hug?” Yunho nodded. “You stupid head! I was so worried about you! You weren’t picking up my calls! I thought something bad happened to you”
“Oh, my phone was out of battery. I’m sorry honey; I didn’t know you were calling”
“You should’ve gone straight home. Your house is two hours away from mine and there’s a storm! It’s dangerous driving at this kind of weather”
Yunho grinned. “Well then, I have a reason to spend a night here”
Just then, the sound of a fist slamming on a table was heard. “Yah yah yah! You two don’t do anything funny alright? I want to have a peaceful sleep tonight! The last time Yunho hyung spent a night here, I wasn’t able to sleep the whole night! You know what, why don’t you just sound proof yo—“
Jaejoong rolled his eyes and dragged Yunho towards his room ignoring the whines and protests of Junsu.
