Summary: Kyuhyun is a jock, Sungmin is an average Joe. They're together and things are just complicated, rather Kyuhyun's making things complicated.

“You sure about this?”
“Never been sure,”
“I mean, why not give them another chance. Since they all got detention, they should at least learn their lesson”
“Fuck that, can you hear yourself Shim Changmin? That’s bullshit!”
“Alright man, no need to shout” Changmin sighed exasperatedly. He’s been trying to change Kyuhyun’s mind about the revenge thing but it seems impossible. The guy just won’t listen to him. “But just to remind you, if Sungmin finds out about this then you’re dead meat”
“I know, that’s why you’re gonna do it”
“Me? Why me?”
“Just because”
“You’re sick, I won’t do it”
“But you—“
“When I say no, I mean no” Changmin said sternly. They’re friends, yes. But Kyuhyun can’t possibly let him do something he doesn’t want to.
Kyuhyun, on the other hand, felt hopeless. If Changmin won’t do it, then who’s gonna do it ? Definitely not him.
“Come on Changmin ah, I’m your best friend. Friends help each other when they’re in need”
“But you’re not”
He just couldn’t make Changmin agree no matter how much he pleaded him. “Stop whining, your lover boy’s here”
Kyuhyun then saw Sungmin’s figure approaching them. His previous conversation with Changmin forgotten as he giddily skipped towards his boyfriend. “Baby I missed you!” he enveloped Sungmin in a tight hug, kissing his cheek countless of times.
“Why did you want me to go here? What if someone sees us?”
“No, Changmin wi—“ he stopped as he noticed that his ‘mean’ best friend was nowhere in sight. “The bastard’s gone. Babe, we’re in the roof top, our secret place. No one goes here; you think someone will see us?”
Sungmin shrugged. “Who knows?”
“You worry about things too much, babe”
“I’m not; I’m just trying to be careful”
“Alright,” Kyuhyun sighed, knowing that in situations like this, he just has to agree with Sungmin. He once again just dropped the subject of and made Sungmin sit down his lap, wrapping his long arms around his lover’s slender waist. “Minnie ah, would you be mad if I did something wrong and stupid?”
“It depends, what are you talking about?”
“Nothing,” he rested his chin on Sungmin’s shoulder. “I was just curious”
“Uhm, alright” Sungmin just nodded although he’s quite sure that there’s something in Kyuhyun’s words. “But if you’re still planning to do funny things, then you better stop it”
“H-how did you know?”
“I’m awesome like that” Of course Sungmin didn’t find it out by himself, Changmin told him. Sungmin then noticed Kyuhyun’s puppy eyes and pouting lips, he giggled and lightly pecked his lips. “Kyu, it’s not worth it. You’re just gonna make things worse. You might get expelled too. If that happens, who’s gonna protect me now?” he wrapped his arms around Kyuhyun’s neck and buried his face on his chest.
Hearing his precious lover’s words, he couldn’t help but consider it. Sungmin’s right. Getting expelled is the last thing he would want to happen, not when his baby is not always safe. He wonders why Sungmin doesn’t have any friends other than them. Yes, Yesung is his friend but he dropped out not long ago since his family had to transfer to another country due to personal reasons so now, Sungmin has no one but him and Changmin, just them.
Questions were running through his mind. Why is it that Sungmin’s the only one who gets bullied when seen with him? How about the others? He just couldn’t get it. Is Sungmin hated that much?
Giving up, he sighed. “Alright, I’ll stop. But I’m telling you sweetie, if they hurt you one more time then I won’t hesitate to carry on with my plan whether you like it or not. I’m sorry, I just don’t want seeing you hurt and get laughed at. It breaks my heart”
“I’m gonna hold on to your words, Kyu” Sungmin then looked at his wrist watch. He didn’t notice that they’ve been there for quite a while now. “It’s time for class now, let’s go back” he tried to remove Kyuhyun’s arms that were around his waist but the taller man wouldn’t budge. “We’re gonna be late, come on”
Kyuhyun moaned, burying his head on the crook of Sungmin’s neck. “Later babe, let’s stay like this for a while”

“Do you know that eavesdropping can be considered a crime?” he jumped in surprise, turned around and gasped.
“C-changmin sunbae”
“Name”
“Kim Kibum”
“Why?”
“Why what?”
Changmin hissed. “What why what?”
“Uhm, I was just curious”
“Seeing whatever you saw, did it make you less curious?”
“No sunbae”
“It made you more curious, didn’t it?” the obviously frightened Kibum nodded, his head hung low. “Look at me” he heard Changmin say and in an instant, he head shot up. “I’ll let you go this time. But if I catch you again being a peeping tom, let’s just see what happens. Understand?”
“Y-yes sunbaenim”
“Good. Now you may go.” Kibum hurriedly walked away, “Hey kid!” but stopped when Changmin called him. He didn’t turn around but Changmin knew he was listening. “You’re pretty cute, let’s hang out some time” a blush crept up his face and hurriedly ran away leaving an amused Changmin. “Kim Kibum,” the guy’s name escaped from his lips. “I like him”
“You like who?”
“Oh Kyuhyun ah, nothing just someone”
“Whatever, what are you doing here?” Kyuhyun asked, guiding Sungmin out the door. Changmin didn’t respond, he just smiled which confused the lovers. “Alright man, smile there all you want, we’re leaving” and with that, they left Changmin alone, still smiling and giggling like crazy.
