Jocks and Joes - Nine
Title: Jocks and Joes

Summary: Kyuhyun is a jock, Sungmin is an average Joe. They're together and things are just complicated, rather Kyuhyun's making things complicated.

Sungmin expected a violent reaction from Kyuhyun but the latter seemed to be just calm about it, and it bothered him. Not getting a response from his lover, he eventually pulled away wiping his tears.
“What else?” he heard Kyuhyun ask but he couldn’t comprehend the question very well. “What else has he done?” slowly, he shook his head and Kyuhyun enveloped him again in a warm comforting hug. “I’m not gonna do anything that’ll make things even more complicated. I trust you and everything you say.”
That definitely brought tears to the smaller man’s eyes once more. Knowing Kyuhyun, he should be hysterical and punching the life out of Siwon by now but he wasn’t. He remained calm and comforted Sungmin for their sake, hurting Siwon for that reason will cause suspicion from the others and Siwon as well. If that happens, they’ll eventually find out the truth and all hell will break loose. That’s not what the love birds want to happen.
“Thank you Kyu. Thank you for trusting me.”
“How could I not trust you? I love you too much to doubt you and besides, you’re definitely worth every person’s trust. Just make sure that Siwon won’t go kissing you again or I won’t be able to control myself. I’ll male sure to always keep an eye on that jerk.”
Sungmin clutched onto Kyuhyun’s shirt, burying his head on his boyfriend’s broad chest. “I don’t know how to face him. I don’t even know if I want to see him again.”
“You don’t have you. I’ll talk to the principal and ask her to transfer you to my class.”
“No Kyu, you don’t have to do that. I’ll be fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, I guess.”
Kyuhyun sighed. “See babe, you’re not even sure. Why don’t you listen to me just once huh?” he looked at Sungmin who was giving him a pout. “You’re really not gonna listen to me, are you?” Sungmin shook his head. “I figured. You’re still hard-headed as always.”
Sungmin smiled, pecking Kyuhyun’s lips lightly. “Hard-headed or not, you still love me.”

He tried to avoid Siwon at all costs but his efforts just won’t pay out, the guy was practically everywhere he goes. He also tried hiding in the roof top but in the end, Siwon found him. “I know you’re avoiding me because of the kiss.”
“Please Siwon, don’t remind me about that.”
“But I wanna talk to you about it.” he sighed, scooting over so Siwon could sit beside him and the latter happily complied. “About the whole thing, you might think I’m playing with you and your feelings but no, I’m serious about it. I love you Sungmin and I want you to be my boyfriend.”
“But Siwon..”
“But what? Don’t you like me?”
“It’s not that, it’s just that..”
“What? Is it because of Kyuhyun?”
Sungmin looked at him with wide eyes. “What? Why is he involved?”
“Why not?” he shrugged. “He’s your boyfriend, why won’t he be?”
“Wha..how..why..you..”
“How did I know?” Siwon stood up, smirking. He then paced back and forth in front of Sungmin. “Lee Sungmin, I’ve been your stalker for the past three years, of course I should know all the details about you.” He looked at the shocked Sungmin. “Surprised? I tried everything to get your attention but you just won’t look at me. You might think you already know me but you don’t know anything about me.”
“Stop it Siwon, this isn’t funny.”
“I know it isn’t, and it’s not supposed to be. I’ll say this again, be my boyfriend.”
Sungmin glared at hi and scoffed. “You already know that I have a boyfriend, why are you sill asking me this?”
“Oh, that’s easy. I want you to break up with him and be with me.”
“Are you crazy? And why would I do that?”
“Because I want to. And besides, if you don’t do what I want, I will tell the whole school about you and him. You know what will happen if I do that, right? Ah, why am I even asking that when that’s the reason why you kept your relationship with him a secret.” He chuckled. “So, be mine?”
“No! You’re cruel! How could you do this?!” he stood up, his eyes tearing. He was scared, and he felt betrayed. He treated Siwon as a friend, a true friend and now he finds out that he’s actually his stalker and threatens him to break up with the person he loves. “I would never ever break up with him! And even if I do, don’t expect me to come running to you. Forget that we even know each other!” and with that, he ran away leaving a still smirking Siwon.
Siwon cupped his mouth before shouting. “Suit yourself! But I’m not done with you Lee Sungmin!”

Kyuhyun freaked out a bit when he heard faint sobs from a cubicle in the men’s comfort room. He checked himself out in the mirror, admiring how handsome he is. “Ah, gorgeous as always.” He said, smiling proudly at himself. Just then, the door of the cubicle burst open and he felt himself being tackled down the floor. “What the hell! Get off me you freak!” he tried pushing the guy away.
“I-it’s me Kyu-kyuhyun ah..”
“Sungmin?” he pulled himself up before cupping Sungmin’s face. “Why are you crying? Who made you cry? Huh? Tell me!”
Sungmin shook his head as a response and buried his face in Kyuhyun chest. “I’m scared..” he whispered.
“What happened? Tell me please, I don’t wanna see you crying like this.”
When Sungmin finally calmed down, they both decided that the comfort room is not really a nice place to talk so they went to the infirmary. No one usually goes there and Sungmin has already made friends with the nurse so no worries. He then proceeded to tell Kyuhyun about the incident with Siwon. Of course Kyuhyun was infuriated by it.
“I’m gonna kill him. I’m seriously gonna kill him! Who does he think he is?” he paced back and forth and Sungmin could feel his rage. “How could he threaten you like that? He’s gonna tell the whole school about us?” he smirked. “If that’s what he wants, then let’s make it easier for him.”
From the tone of Kyuhyun’s voice, he’s serious about it. And whatever that is, Sungmin sure doesn’t like it.
