“What are you doing here you retard?” Kyuhyun said through gritted teeth. He really couldn’t take the sight of Siwon talking to them.
“Angry now, Cho ssi?” Siwon chuckled. “Don’t worry; I didn’t come here for you. I’m here for my future boyfriend or your soon soon-to-be ex-boyfriend. Am I right, Sungmin baby?”
“What the fuck is your problem?! You know I’m not afraid to hit you!”
“Well, I’m not afraid to hit you back.”
The glaring contest between Siwon and Kyuhyun began and the atmosphere was very tense that even Changmin didn’t know what to do. Kyuhyun was forced to let go of Sungmin’s hand as he stood up, almost towering over Siwon who didn’t even look a bit intimidated.
A smirk then spread across Kyuhyun’s face. “Alright then, let’s have it your way..Choi ssi.” In a swift manner, he yanked Sungmin’s wrist and pulled him up. “YAH! EVERYONE LISTEN UP!” his voice boomed throughout the whole cafeteria. Everyone, as in everyone, stopped whatever they were doing so all eyes were focused on him.
“What are you doing?” Sungmin whispered through slightly gritted teeth but Kyuhyun purposely ignored him. Siwon, who was watching the scene with interest, kept his mouth shut. Changmin and Kibum were silent, anticipating every single second.
Just then, Kyuhyun laced his fingers with Sungmin’s and everyone gasped. “I, Cho Kyuhyun, am madly, insanely, deeply and shamelessly in love with Lee Sungmin.” He held Sungmin’s hand tightly and gave it a soft kiss. “We’ve been together for a couple of years now and I still love him very much. So try to mess with him and you’ll be messing with me.” He turned to look at Sungmin. “I love you baby and I always will.” He leaned closer until heir lips met and gave him a passionate kiss ignoring everyone else’s reactions.
“Way to go Kyu!” they heard Changmin say.
When he pulled away, a smirk was plastered on his face as he looked at Siwon. “And by the way guys, Choi Siwon ssi is looking for a boyfriend or a girlfriend. The first one to approach him gets to date him for a month.” He said before dragging a still shocked Sungmin, leaving Siwon who was instantly swarmed by his fan girls..and boys.
“What the hell was that?” Sungmin demanded an answer. He was angry, not because Kyuhyun told everyone about their relationship but because of the fact that he put Siwon in a difficult situation.
“What? So now you’re worried about that bastard?”
Sungmin pulled his arms away harshly from Kyuhyun’s hold. “It’s not that! He may have been my stalker but he—“
“He’s your stalker?!” Kyuhyun asked in disbelief. He certainly didn’t know about that piece of information and he certainly is surprised. “How come you never said anything about it?” Sungmin was surprised himself. He didn’t intend to blurt that out, Kyuhyun wasn’t supposed to know about it.
“Don’t you change the topic Cho Kyuhyun! “
“I can’t believe this!” the taller male ruffled his hair in annoyance, wondering how they ended up arguing. “I can’t believe you! I thought were supposed to be honest with each other, but I was wrong. I may not be the perfect boyfriend but I’m trying my best to be one. If your feelings towards me have changed then you should’ve told me.” He scoffed. “Is It him?” he asked quietly, his fists clenched.
“What? What are you talking about? Feelings? What feelings?”
“Siwon, is he the reason why you don’t want people knowing about us? Were you just using the social status shit as an excuse?”
“Kyu,” Sungmin tried holding Kyuhyun’s shoulder but his hands just got swatted away.
“Do you love me? Please, don’t lie. Just be honest, I’ll accept whatever your answer is. Just..just don’t lie. That’s the last thing I want to hear right now.” he was whispering, tears were threatening to fall out of Kyuhyun’s eyes but he held it back in. He didn’t want Sungmin to see him crying. Not that he’s scared of ruining his kingka image, no, to hell with that. He doesn’t give a damn about image shit.
He’s scared, very scared of knowing the truth. In those years that they were together, he has managed to make himself believe that Sungmin loves him, only him. But the assurance he had vanished and was replaced with insecurity, rather insecurities.
“I love you.” Sungmin’s voice was stern, not like his usual soft and gentle one. “I love you I love you I love you! I have never loved someone else other than you. Kyu, how can you accuse me of something like cheating on you? You know me too well to think that I could be actually having an affair with someone else. You really think I would do that?” his eyes were brimming with tears.
In an instant, Kyuhyun softened up and found himself hugging tightly the now crying Sungmin. The thing he hates the most is a crying Sungmin. Nothing and no one is worth his tears, not even him.
“I’m sorry babe, I’m so sorry. I’m sorry for being a jerk. I love you too much and I didn’t mean to say those things. I was just..”
“No..don’t.” Sungmin managed to choke out, pulling away from the hug. He looked at Kyuhyun straight in the eyes, “Don’t apologize. Uhm, I-I have to go..” he turned on his heel and ran away leaving a surprised Kyuhyun.
He didn’t know why he ran away. He’s not mad at Kyuhyun, really. This was the first time he fought with Kyuhyun that hurt him a lot. Their previous fights were caused by petty stuff but this was different. He thought Kyuhyun trusted him as much as he trusts Kyuhyun. But what was that?
He knew he couldn’t he couldn’t get out of the school premises as it was still school hours. He couldn’t go to the roof top, Kyuhyun would most probably follow him there. There’s only one place he could go that Kyuhyun won’t find out.

Changmin and Kibum were walking back their own classes when they were greeted by a panting Kyuhyun. “Oh hey dude, I didn’t know you were an attention whore.”
“Shut up Changmin! Have you seen Sungmin?”
“Huh? What? I thought you were together?”
“Yeah we were but we..I..dammit!” he ruffled his hair in frustration. “I’ll tell you later, just..just help me find him.”
“Alright I will,” Changmin then turned to Kibum. “are you going to help?”
Kibum gave him a look. “Do you even have to ask?” and so the three went on looking for Sungmin, completely forgetting the fact that they still have classes to attend to.
They decided that it was better to split up so they did. Changmin went up the roof top, Kyuhyun decided to check on the music room and the school backyard while Kibum checked the hallways just in case. He was walking the corridor when he heard a faint female voice calling..Sungmin’s name? He stopped dead on his tracks and listened carefully, thank heavens it was quiet.
He followed the voice and he ended up in front of the infirmary. He took a deep breath before twisting the door open. There he saw Sungmin lying down the bed with the school nurse talking to him. He cleared his throat to make his presence known. “Uhm, excuse me.”
The nurse put on a smile while Sungmin stared at him wide-eyed. “Kibum? What are you doing here?”
He shrugged. “Thought I heard you here, turns out I was right.”
“Please don’t tell Kyuhyun I’m here.”
“Why would I when I know you’re trying to hide from him?”
“Alright boys, I’ll leave you two to talk. I’ll be at the cafeteria.” The two boys nodded and watched the nurse step out of the room.
Kibum then made a move to sit on the chair beside Sungmin’s bed. “What happened, hyung?”
“Nothing, it’s nothing.”
“When it’s nothing, it’s clearly something. Look how puffy and red your eyes are. It’s obvious that you’ve been crying. We may not be the closest of friends but you know you can talk to me.”
Sungmin sighed, looking down his lap, fiddling with his fingers— an obvious sign that he’s nervous. “Kyuhyun, he..he accused me of cheating on him.”
“He did what?”
“You heard me right Kibum, he did. He thought I was cheating on him with Siwon.” He proceeded to tell the younger man the rest of the story, everything that happened between him and Kyuhyun earlier.
“But he said he was sorry, right?”
Sungmin nodded. “And I forgave him already. It’s just that, I need time to think, I need time for myself. I guess it just hurt me too much.” He chuckled almost bitterly. “I’m just weak like that. I can’t handle things like this, I tend to get too emotional.”
“It’s okay hyung, it’s just normal to be sensitive. And if I were in your place, I would’ve done the same thing too, maybe more. I mean, if Changmin sunbae were to accuse me, I would even think of dumping him.” He gave Sungmin’s hand a comforting squeeze. “Don’t think too much, hyung.”
“I’m trying not to.”
“How long are you gonna hide from him? You know you can’t do that for long. You live together.”
“I just wanted to have a rest but I’m gonna talk to him later at home.”
Kibum nodded. “Uhm hyung, I have to back to class now. I’m pretty late.”
“Alright, go ahead.”
“Aren’t you going to yours too?”
Sungmin shook his head. “Nah, I’ll stay here for the rest of the day.”
Kibum stood up and bid farewell not before promising Sungmin again that he won’t tell Kyuhyun about this. He walked out the infirmary and to his surprise, Changmin was there leaning against the wall.
“I knew you’d be here.”
“Don’t tell Kyuhyun hyung about this, please?”
Changmin grinned. “Of course I won’t, but you have to give me something in return for keeping your little secret.”
“What is it?” he asked in annoyance. This happens all the time. He couldn’t ask Changmin a favor without him doing something to return the favor.
“Go on a date with me after school.”
“Can I even say no?”
“No.”
“I figured.” He sighed. “Alright.”
