Title: Stepping Into Your Heart

Summary: Yoochun's in a relationship with Gahee, but after a few months Gahee finally admits she has been sleeping with an other all this time and she wants to break up. While suffering from a broken heart he seeks comfort in his best friend, Junsu. After a heart-to-heart talk, Junsu finally confesses his love for Yoochun, and Yoochun takes it as a joke. Junsu has been in love with him long before Gahee came along but was never able to tell him. Yoochun simply waves the confession away and goes on sulking in his own "pain". But the longer he's crashing at his best friend's house, stumbling onto the most weird situations, and a few more confessions, Yoochun slowly develops a strong, unknown feeling for Junsu. As he finally made up his mind, Gahee comes back.

That was stupid, very stupid of him. Although Junsu said it was nothing, it was obviously something. Junsu is hurting and he knows it. He just couldn’t do anything about it, sadly. He screwed up big time and he wanted to make it up to him (Junsu). Asking Yunho for advice was a wrong move though. All he got was a mind-numbing three-hour long lecture on how he should treat Junsu better. Of course he knows that, what happened was just a stupid slip up that he swore would never happen again.
He’s not at fault, actually. Junsu wanted him to answer the questions as truthfully as possible, and he did just that. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love Junsu. He does, it’s just in a different level with how he loves Gahee. It’s unfortunate in Junsu’s part but that’s just how it is.
“Are you just playing with Junsu’s feelings?” was Jaejoong’s question when he found an opportunity to talk to Yoochun. He’s had enough of seeing a depressed Junsu.
“Hyung, I’m not. Please believe me.”
“I want to Yoochun, I really do. I just can’t take seeing him sulk all day long. It’s annoying.”
“I tried talking to him but he doesn’t want to. When I ask him if he’s okay, he says he is.”
“Of course he would say that. You think he would tell you he’s far from okay? Don’t be stupid Yoochun! He just doesn’t want to make you worry. You should know better.”
“I screwed up, didn’t I?”
“Do you even have to ask?” but then again, he couldn’t put all the blame at Yoochun. “Tell you what; why not make it up to Junsu? He’s at home, cheer him up.”
And that’s how Yoochun ended up at Junsu’s house. The man was giving him a cold shoulder and it was making him lose his sanity. “Junsu, please talk to me.”
“I am talking to you.” Responded Junsu; busy with his cell phone (more like making himself busy with it).
“I was wrong and I’m really sorry. It won’t happen again, I swear.”
“It really shouldn’t.” he gave him a look.
“Can you please be nice to me again?” he pleaded, giving him puppy eyes which he knew wouldn’t work. But it was still worth a shot.
Junsu gave up, Yoochun was really hard to resist. “Fine, just don’t do it again or I won’t talk to you ever again.”
“I promise!”
“Alright, you’re forgiven.” And just like that, he forgave him.
Although it was ridiculous, he still thinks that what he did was right. And besides, he loves Yoochun too much to not forgive him. That night, Yoochun slept over.
“Su..” Yoochun’s whines were heard in the middle of the night. He groaned but Yoochun kept on shaking his body so he had no choice but to open his heavy eyelids. It turns out that Yoochun was hungry and he didn’t know whether to hit him in the face or just let it go. Of course he chose the latter. Did he have any other choice anyway?
“Next time, if you’re hungry, do me a favor and just cook for yourself. Don’t bother me when I’m asleep.”
“But you know I can’t cook.”
“Well that’s not my fault. Teach yourself.”
“You’re mean.”
“Yes I am, can I sleep now?”
Yoochun shook his head furiously, munching on his hotdog (no pun intended). “Don’t leave me; I’ll be done in a while.”
“Chun, you’ve been saying that for half an hour and you’re still not finished. How long are you going to eat those damn hotdogs and egg?!” he propped his elbows on the table and rested his chin, eyelids dropping every once in a while due to severe sleepiness.
“Just sit there and watch me eat my egg.”
“Eew Chun, that sounded perverted!”
“I intended it to be.” He chuckled before ducking down the table trying to avoid Junsu’s flying slippers. “I was kidding Su, kidding!”
“But that didn’t sound like a joke and hurry up you slowpoke! I’m sleepy and my patience is running thin.”
The next day, Yoochun was following Junsu everywhere. He was practically his shadow. He doesn’t want to leave him alone. Junsu appreciates the company but it’s just getting way too much. He even follows him in the comfort room.
They were eating out for lunch when they spotted Yesung. “Don’t!” Yoochun said, holding Junsu back who was about to approach the bartender. Junsu gave him a confused look. “Just don’t. Let’s just eat somewhere else.”
“Can’t we talk to him just for a while?”
“No Su. I’m sorry but no. I want this day for us, just for us.”
“Alright!” Junsu answered rather happily but Yoochun wasn’t able to notice it as he was busy shooting daggers at Yesung’s back who couldn’t even see him. Junsu saw what he was doing and rolled his eyes. “Oh you have got to be kidding me Chun! Stop looking at him like that. He doesn’t even know we’re here! Come on, you’re just hungry.”
And so Junsu dragged him to the nearest restaurant. Whether Yoochun was jealous or not, Junsu was still happy. But then again, he might be, considering the way he acts.
“I miss Changmin,” Yoochun said, sighing as he sipped on his soda.
“Yeah, me too. It’s just a shame that we weren’t able to take care of him well when he was with us.”
“True and I blame you for that.”
Junsu looked at him incredulously. “What? Yah, how could you?!”
“Well, it was really your fault. If you didn’t go bitching on me during our first day then things would go the way we imagined it to be.”
“Yoochun, I don’t want an argument right now but from the way you’re speaking, I think you’re looking for one and I won’t hesitate to give you that.”
“Hey, I ain’t picking a fight with you so quit bizzle snatchin!”
“And now you’re using slang on me?” he hissed. “Are you having a PMS or something? One minute you’re all happy and giddy and the next minute you’re acting like an old hag. And if it wasn’t obvious I wasn’t bizzle snatchin as you would like to call it.”
“Excuse me but I’m not an old hag! I’m ju—“
“STOP! Just stop..okay? We’re educated people so let’s try to have a civilized conversation.”
That was a good idea but they should’ve thought of that earlier since everyone in the restaurant was already looking at them. And of course, it was obviously oblivious to the two.
