“Dude, she’s like what, the seventh person you dumped in a span of four days? You’re un-fucking-believable. I won’t be surprised if you get STDs one day.”
“Jaejoong, my man, calm the fuck down! You know how I am. It’s all about the guys, girls, booze and sex. And don’t fucking kid with me. You used to sleep around like a whore.”
“That was before I met my boyfriend and I would never do that again, ever.”
“Uh-huh. Good for you. Now, if you must, get the fuck out of my house and let me have my peace. My head hurts like fuck and I fucking feel nauseous.”
Jin smirks as he successfully shooed his best friend out of his pad. He looks around and curses at the mess his last prospect made. Now, how’s he going to clean the shit up? Should he call Jaejoong for help? And what? Get a three-hour lecture about how he should be a responsible adult? No way. He sighed. Looks like he would have to see Mrs. Park – the old lady who cleans his house during weekends – earlier than expected.
Spotting the hangover soup Jaejoong brought him on the table, he chugs it down and waddles his way back his bedroom. As soon as he plops down the bed, his phone rings and if only he could, he would not hesitate to punch Jaejoong in the face. “What the fuck?”
‘Hello to you too, Jin.’
“Get straight to the point or I’m hanging up.”
‘Fine. Check your email. I sent your schedule for the week and lucky you, you were invited to walk for Fashion Week.’
Jin is a well-renowned model in Korea. And no matter how fucked up his attitude is, he does his job well with flying colors. Jaejoong still thinks he should get a reality check and realize that everything is not about having fun. He’s pretty sure Jin would learn that the hard way.
Four hours later, he wakes up with his headache gone, much to his delight. He glances at the wall clock, okay good, five more hours ‘till his next photoshoot. He checks his phone for messages and of course, there was a single message from Kim Jaejoong telling him to grow up and start acting like a responsible adult and for the love of eggs, please check your mail!
Humming a tune, he does what his best friend-slash-manager told him. I would forever be Jaejoong’s slave, he thinks grimly. As he scrolls down his inbox, he finds three new messages. One from Jaejoong, another one from a clothing line and one from a mysterious sender.
“…shit.” He whispers as he reads the contents. “No fucking way.”

“Akanishi man, you are so fucking screwed! Be thankful you’re a model not an actor or worse, an idol star.”
Jin sighs exasperatedly, shooting a glare at Jaejoong’s direction. “This has got to be a fucking joke. Like, I can’t have a son! A seven year old son at that.”
“You never told me you lost your virginity that early. Dude, at seventeen, you already couldn’t keep your dick in your pants?” Jaejoong scoffs. “I might have to chop tinky winky off.”
“Oh no you won’t!” the model protests, covering his crotch with both hands. “What should I do now?”
“What? You’ll wait for two days, welcome your lovechild with open arms and take care of him. I might have to thank this Kwon Yuri after all. Maybe this Donghae kid might be the one who’ll make you a—“
“—responsible adult. Oh fuck. I think I might need a drink or two. Or a lot.”

For the next two days, he was restless. He tried to look for any contact information Yuri might have left but there was none and he feels like he’s gonna lose his mind anytime soon. He always does a good job at work, always. But he seems to space out lately and it bothers Jaejoong.
“Stop pacing around you fool! Sit there and wait patiently.”
“I can’t sit and wait patiently knowing that my alleged son would arrive any minute!”
Jaejoong’s boyfriend chuckles, saying how pathetic Jin is and Jaejoong agrees. The Japanese man has never been this edgy, even when he was almost arrested a year ago for causing havoc in a bar. This Jin is a contrast to the arrogant and self-centered Jin they know and quite frankly, they prefer this nervous wreck than the overconfident bastard.
When the doorbell rings, Jin feels his world crashing down. The moment he opens the door, he would have to kiss his bachelor life goodbye. He’s not ready for it, so not ready and honestly, he thinks Yuri doesn’t have the right to just send the kid anytime she wants. Jin has a life and he’s always busy – with both work and messing around with people – so it won’t be possible for him to take care of the kid like Yuri wants him to.
He sighs, musters up some fucking courage and twists the doorknob open. “Oh,” he says quietly. “What a surprise.”
Standing before him is none other than Kwon Yuri herself and a little boy whom he assumed as Donghae Aiden. “Long time no see, Jin.”
From what he remembers seven years ago, Yuri is still the same tanned, pretty and pleasant-looking girl he once knew. She might have become skinnier but she was still gorgeous. He snaps out of his reverie when he feels a tug on his pants. He crouches down and smiles softly. “You must be Donghae,”
The boy nods shyly but hugs him nonetheless. Seeing the interaction between the two, Yuri smiles. She clears her throat. “Well, I have to go now. I have a flight to catch.” Jin pulls away, standing back up. “Take care of him for me, will you?”
He nods stiffly. “I will, don’t worry.”

“Well that went well.” Jaejoong comments as Jin slumps back his couch. Yunho voluntarily helped Donghae unpack his things in the guest room and Jin is thankful for that. “That was your ex? She’s gorgeous.”
“Oh yes. She was my first love and I really loved her. I just…I had to let her go for my career.”
“So…are you okay?”
He nods, rubbing his temples. “I’ll be okay. But I don’t think I’ll be able to take care of the kid alone. Do you think…”
“No!” Jaejoong cuts him off. “Yunho is just as busy as you. And even if he’s damn good with kids, I won’t let him be your kid’s nanny. You know, there’s this nanny agency, you could call them and hire a nanny. It would make things easier.”
A smile slowly spreads Jin’s face as he contemplates. “That’s a great idea, man. So…should I make a call now?”
